Open Dialogue is a collaborative, democratic model of mental health care, which originated in Finland. It brings together the social network of the person at the centre of concern with clinicians to help facilitate a space that supports the process of recovery.

Open Dialogue Champions, featured in this film, find ways to increase awareness of Open Dialogue in order to help this new form of mental health care spread. Mainly parents of people who have been let down by the current mental health service, they are channeling their anger into activism.
