George Monbiot and Caroline Lucas Interviews

I filmed a couple of interviews at the Ways With Words Festival at Dartington Hall for the Network Of Wellbeing:

In his talk, George Monbiot promoted his new campaign Rewilding Britain.

In the interview he talked about the importance of living a life of meaning and purpose, and of the joy which results from connecting with the natural world.  I was pleasantly surprised to hear him say that he thought seeking enlightenment was necessary for wellbeing.

And Caroline Lucas talked about the ridiculous antics of parliament described in her new book Honourable Friends?: Parliament and the Fight for Change.

In her interview she talked about the importance of wellbeing as a lens through which to view public policy, saying wellbeing offers an alternative and more meaningful objective to that of Gross Domestic Product (GDP).
